Clos Pegase
Inspired by the grandeur of the legendary horse that broke the damn and allowed the wine god Bacchus to irrigate the vineyards, the Clos Pegase series combines a very classic look with the elegance any wine collector would be proud to own. The series comes standard with the French window pane doors along with the detailed dentil moldings on the crown and base.
Clos Pegase Features

Features & Upgrades
QT Cooling Systems
- High efficiency natural convection refrigeration cools the cabinet from rear forward. This minimizes noise and maximizes its ability to cool. Features temperature equalization for temperature consistency throughout the cabinet. This is included in your purchase from the Wine Cellar Depot.
WK 2500 Cooling System
- The economical option for meeting your cabinet's cooling needs. It utilizes the industry standard forced air cooling system. Please keep in mind the volume/sound difference between these two cooling systems and where the unit will be placed. If you are sound sensitive, go with the QT.
Liquid Measuring Thermostats
- A probe measures the liquid temperature in a wine bottle. Choose between the PDT Jr. with no read out or the upgraded thermostat with digital readings.
Racking Progressive
- Designed to accommodate a large variety of new and unique sized bottles, which is the current trend among many wine producers. At 3.5 inches wide, the Progressive racking will hold all of the traditional sized bottles as well as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah bottles.
Racking Traditional
- Designed to maximize bottle storage capacity. 150, 320, 500 series cabinets feature all Bordeaux racks with ne column Champagne. The 550 & 700 cabinet series feature all Bordeaux racks with two columns of Champagne.
Racking Universal
- Designed to offer storage for a diverse collection of bottle styles by incorporating one column of splits, one column Magnums, two-to-three columns Champagne and the remaining spaces, Bordeaux. This configuration uses more space and results in lower overall bottle capacity. Custom racking is also available if your needs demand a more specific layout.
Front venting
- The cooling solution for building our wine storage units into existing cabinetry or into tight spaces where ventilation is limited. This design increases cabinet height by 3 inches and encloses the backside. Two ventilation fans are mounted inside the top section. The fans draw air from beneath the cabinet across condenser coils and out the front of the unit (at the top). Note: It is recommended that the customer receive the unit prior to preparing the space into which it will be mounted.
Display Rows
- Adorn your beautiful cabinet with bottle display rows to feature your prized vintages.
Dual Zone Cabinets
- Available in the 550 and 700 series only. Available in both QT and WK systems as well. Dual zone includes separate cooling units with thermostats and standard controls. A centre wall separates the two zones and a special thermostat chip is available at no extra charge to reduce the temperature to 7C/45F. Independent door seals allow doors to open independently of one another.
Stain

Birds Eye Inlay
- Make your cabinet unique with the Birds Eye Inlay upgradable option for many Vinotheque cabinets. Add character and depth to sideboards, tabletops and detail on cabinets and credenzas.
